About Us

We are a group of Harvard students interested in Europe
Connect America & Europe

Led by Co-Presidents Richard Dunn and Jack Stone, The Harvard College European Business Group (EBG) is dedicated to providing the Harvard Student body with knowledge about the European business environment, economic climate, investment opportunities and politics affecting the business sector of Europe. Furthermore, the EBG seeks to give students the opportunity to explore different career paths in the region and to connect with representatives of leading companies from the continent in sectors such as finance, consulting, manufacturing and more. The EBG will also create a space where students with the same interests can meet and learn from each other. We will achieve our goals through organizing guest speaker events, discussions, seminars, conferences, social activities and through other channels.

Richard Dunn

President
Richard Dunn is from Orange, California, and is a sophomore living in Leverett House. He studies the Classics, particularly Latin and Ancient Greek literature, and is also learning Italian. He is interested in business and politics, and loves travelling to his grandmother’s homeland, Italy

Jack Stone

President
Jack is a junior in Quincy House concentrating in Economics. A native of Los Angeles, he is very interested in international business, including media, energy and finance. He speaks Spanish, French, Arabic, and Portuguese and hopes to utilize his linguistic ability in working abroad.

Reed McMurchy

Director of Corporate Strategy
Reed is a junior studying Government. Raised in Connecticut, he is very interested in the intersection of business and media. He has worked at Fox News alongside Megyn Kelly on her primetime program The Kelly File and at the White House, where he focused on domestic policy.

Christina Neckermann

Director of International Relations
Christina is a junior studying Government and Economics. She is involved in the German American Conference, the Financial Analysts Club, and the Harvard International Review. She loves traveling, learning foreign languages, and spending time with friends and family.

Diana Schoeller

Director of Media Strategy
Diana is a junior, visiting for a year from the University of St. Gallen. In Switzerland, she started her B.A. in Business Administration and served as board member of one of Europe’s major student business consultancies. She is very interested in European-American business and its potential.

Sebastian Schwartz

Chief Technology Officer
Sebastian is a sophomore concentrating in Computer Science. As an Australian-Slovak dual national, he has spent substantial time in eastern Europe, where he has both a family background and experience in developing technical solutions for early-stage ventures.

Jennifer Horowitz

Design Director
Jennifer is a sophomore at Harvard College concentrating in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. Originally from Los Angeles, Jennifer currently serves as the Business Manager of the Harvard Political Review and is a member of the Institute of Politics’s National Security Policy Board.

Anthony Kenny

Director of Operations
Anthony is a sophomore living in Winthrop, studying Computer Science. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, he is interested in business and technology. Anthony is also currently a manager at Harvard Student Agencies and a member of the Varsity Heavyweight Crew team.

Andrew Sterne

Director of Finance
Andrew is a junior studying Economics. Originally from San Francisco, Andrew has always had a strong interest in learning about businesses and what makes them successful. After living in Spain for a summer, he has been particularly fascinated by the relations of European economies.

George Solodko

Director of Educational Outreach
George is a freshman concentrating in Economics with a Secondary in Government. Raised in Kiev, he speaks Russian, German, and a little bit of Arabic. He has launched his own non-profit and has worked in international law and policy at Amnesty International.

Frederick Johnson

Director of Recruitment
Fred is a freshman in Grays Hall planning to concentrate in History with a secondary in Economics. A New Jersey native, he grew up in Jupiter, Florida and was educated at Deerfield Academy. A dual US-UK citizen, he is a man of many tastes, interested in European history and policy.

Andrew Wilkins

Director of Asia Pacific Business
Andrew is a junior in Adams House concentrating in History.

Robert Lowe

Director of Political Relations
Rob is a sophomore from Pacific Palisades, California studying History and Economics. He is a member of the lightweight rowing team and lives in Mather House. Rob is interested in the European history, business, and politics and hopes to one day work overseas.

Fabian J. Baldauf

Senior Advisor
Originally from Germany, Fabian began his studies in Business Administration in Switzerland, where he served as President of a student-run business consultancy. He is chair of the 2017 German American Conference and enjoys exploring new cultures, technological innovations, and sports.

Denis Fedin

Senior Advisor
Denis Fedin is a senior studying Ancient History and Economics. He has traveled throughout Europe and speaks French, Russian, and German. Denis has summer experience in investment banking and private equity and is interested in international finance.
